I spend a lot of time driving around this great region. Like me, you will know that our roads are not adequate and we deserve better. A lack of planning to keep up with population growth, a lack of understanding about the importance of major road transport routes and not having a strong local member of parliament who can deliver results has meant the people of Mirani are missing out. Our region is the economic engine room of Queensland and we need our fair share of funding returned to Mirani.

For the last decade, the Palaszczuk/Miles Government has played politics with the Bruce Highway upgrades and the Peak Downs Highway has been neglected.
